In appreciation for the efforts of our Volunteers, we are pleased to continue our Volunteer of the Month Program. While it truly takes a team effort to achieve success, the Volunteer of the Month Program recognizes one individual each month that has made a significant contribution to the Chapter. Potential candidates are submitted by each Committee Chair, and a volunteer is selected each month.

Meredith Schechter - May 2011 Volunteer of the Month
Congratulations to Meredith Schechter, May Volunteer of the Month. Meredith is being recognized for her contributions as Rules Official for the Chapter Championship. Meredith joined this April (2011) when she moved to South Florida from Connecticut for her new job. She didn't know too many people in the areas, so she thought this would be a good way to meet people and get back into playing more golf.

Kristy joined EWGA in 2008 when she had moved to Florida from the San Francisco bay area and did not know many people. It was a great way to make new friends!
